Kitty Littere’ (MIMI BRYANT) is the complex’s resident cat lady, full-time busybody, and keeper of more feline secrets than the humane society. Her ever-escaping cats are the torment of Mr. Scratchett’s existence — and when one of Kitty’s cats goes missing, tensions rise, tempers flare, and everyone has something to hide.

Mae Westerly, (STEFANIE BURGETT) a has-been glamour girl with sky-high bouffant hair and even higher opinions of herself, who still believes the world is her audience.

Les Moore (DOUG BRYANT) (You can call him Moore or Les) , who runs a “gourmet moonshine business” out of his apartment and operates a very profitable — and very dishonest — weekend gambling casino for the residents of the neighboring Golden Arms Retirement Home, skillfully lightening their pockets before sending them home.

Harry Hardcase, (RAY STILES) a smooth-talking black-market entrepreneur who can get you anything you want, anything you need, and several things you probably shouldn’t have.

Detective Ineda Clu, (CYPRESS BRYANT) A fiercely confident amateur detective who has “studied criminal behavior for years” (mostly on television), Ineda believes logic, order, and proper questioning are the keys to solving any mystery — especially when surrounded by people who clearly have none.

Everything seems perfectly normal… until midnight. – A blood-curdling cat scream shatters the quiet. The missing cat is discovered at the pool — soaked, shrieking, and hysterical — with the cat-hating owner floating unconscious in the water..
